About the artist

VanGotThis is a crochet and yarn artist making one-of-a-kind fibre-art pieces — from sculptural amigurumi to wall hangings and wearable art. Every work starts as a sketch and a skein, and ends as something that has never existed before and never will again.

The studio practice lives on Instagram at @vangotthis, where new pieces are shared as they come off the hook. Finished works are exhibited in the gallery here, and some are offered for sale as originals.

When you buy a piece, you receive a certificate of authenticity: a signed document, emailed to you, whose cryptographic fingerprint is anchored on the Bitcoin blockchain via OpenTimestamps — permanent, independent proof of when your piece was certified.
